Golgi apparatus

Picture
After the ER, many vesicles are traveled to the Golgi apparatus. Products of the ER are stored in the Golgi apparatus. Golgi apparatus consists of flattened membranous sacs. Golgi apparatus sack are polar. the membranes of the cristernae are on the opposite side of the stacks. The two poles are referred to cis face and trans face. The cis face locate near the ER that transport vesicles move materials from the ER to the Golgi apparatus. Rhe trans face give rise vesicles. The product of ER are modified during their transit from the cis region to the trans region of the Golgi apparatus. The Golgi apparatus manufacture certaim macromolecules by itself.
