Eukaryotic cells Vs. Prokaryotic cells

Simialirites: They share basic features such as a plasma membrane. Within the plasma membrane there are semifluids substance called cytosol which organelles are found in. All cells contain chromosomes that carry genes in a form of DNA.

Differences: Within the Domain they separate into 3 groups. Prokaryotic are categorized into Bacteria or Archaea and eukaryotic cells are categorized into eukaryote: protists, fungi, plants, and animals. Eukaryotic cells are larger and more complex than prokaryotic cells. On the other hand, prokaryotic cells are small and simple. DNAs of a prokaryotic cell are located in the nucleoid that have no membrane that separate this region from the rest of the cell. In contrast, eukayotic cell have a true nucleus that is bounded by a nuclear envelope. The region that separate the nucleus and thye nuclear envelope is called the cytoplasm.
