Extracellular of Plants

The cell wall in plant protect the plant cells, give the plant it shape and structure.\, and prevent excessive uptake of eater. It is an extracellular structure of plant cells.  They have the primary wall, middle lamella, and secodnary wall. The primary wall is are young plant cell. Between the primary wall adjacent cells, is the middle lamella. It is thin layer that is rich in sticky polsaccharides called pectin. When the call mature a secondary cell wall appears between the primary cell wall and the plasma membrane. The secondary cell wall support the plant as it mature and for the cell protection.
